The First Book of Meqabyan is a canonical text only in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Despite its name, it has no direct relation to the books of Maccabees found in the Catholic and Orthodox Bibles, presenting distinct narratives and characters, such as King Tseerutsaydan and the Meqabyan martyrs. The Ethiopian tradition considers it a historical and wisdom text, often cited for its moral laws.

Chapter 22
Please - think of persons name who work goodly Work - and don't forget them Work.
Straighten up that thy name be called like unto them name - that thou might be Feeling good with them in the Kingdom of Heaven - that were Light Lodgin that Him prepared to nobles and kings who did JAH Accord and were kind persons.
and again - know and be canvinced of evil nobles and kings names - that Him shall canvict them and revile them alongside man after them dead.
to them didn't line up them Work while them sight up and heard - and know and be canvinced that unless them did JAH Accord - Him shall judge on them in the Kingdom of Heaven more than criminals and persons who forgot JAH LAW.
Be kindly - innocent - honest - yet don't thou also go on persons path who forgot JAH LAW - on whom JAH vexed because them evil Work.
Judge Truth and save the child whose mother and father dead on him - and the widow from sinner persons hand who rob them.
Be a guardian like unto him father to the child whose mother and father dead on him - that thou might save him from the wealthy one hand who rob him - and stand to him - and be alarmed on the time the child - whose mother and father dead on him - tears flowed before thee-I - lest thou be alarmed in fire sea where sinner persons who didn't enter repentance are punished.

But JAH Face of Him Wrath are toward persons who work evil Work - that Him might destroy them name invocation from this world - and Him won't preserve a person who near on ramparts nor mountains.
As I-man am JAH Who am jealous on I Godhood - as I-man am a Creator who revenge and destroy persons who hate I and don't keep I Word - I-man won't return I Face of Support reachin up til I-man destroy the person who don't keep I Word.
and I-man shall honour persons who honour I and keep I Word.
