1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Kanon.Bible, you declare that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility and Registration

The platform is intended for users 18 years or older. By checking the confirmation box during registration, you declare that you are 18 years or older and assume full responsibility for this declaration.

By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful information and keep it updated
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password
  • Be responsible for all activity on your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Creating multiple accounts to bypass platform limitations or the trial period is prohibited. Duplicate accounts are permanently banned.

3. Permitted Use

Permitted: reading and studying texts, copying verses for personal use, sharing verses with Kanon.Bible watermark, participating in the community.

Prohibited: commercial redistribution of content, automated scraping, reproducing the platform's design, using for illegal purposes.

4. Platform Content

Biblical content: The biblical texts used are in the public domain. Kanon.Bible does not claim ownership of the texts themselves.

Editorial content: Contextual notes, introductions, and platform design are the property of Kanon.Bible and protected by copyright.

Editorial position: Kanon.Bible is not a religious denomination and does not advocate any doctrine. Texts are presented with historical and academic context. We do not claim that any biblical tradition is wrong or incomplete.

5. Community Rules

Prohibited: offensive or discriminatory content, personal attacks, aggressive proselytizing, spam, sexual or violent content, harassment, and creating multiple accounts.

6. Penalties

Violations result in: warning (1st time), temporary suspension (repeat offense), 30-day suspension (serious), permanent ban (very serious). Conduct such as harassment and threats result in immediate banning.

7. Plans, Payments and Cancellation

Free plan: Access to 81+ books and basic features is free and always will be.

Premium plan: Subscriptions are processed via Stripe. The Premium plan unlocks advanced features as described on the plans page.

Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from your account panel. There is no cancellation fee.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kanon.Bible provides historical texts for educational and cultural purposes. We are not responsible for theological interpretations or spiritual decisions made based on the platform's content.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by Brazilian laws. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
